We are an OCD peer support group in York, UK.
We hold in-person support meetings once a month for anyone dealing with OCD.
How can an OCD support group help you?
Has your OCD ever made you feel alone?
Intrusive thoughts and compulsions can be irrational or frightening, so many people with OCD feel like they're 'going crazy' or a 'bad person'.
It can be a big relief to find other people who understand the disorder and be able to talk openly about what you're going through.
What is Seek Solace?
We are a peer-led OCD support group that meets once a month in York Explore Library.
We also host a monthly social meal or drinks, and have active Facebook and Whatsapp groups. Many of our members have become good friends outside the group, too.
Seek Solace was set up in 2015 for anyone struggling with OCD. It doesn't matter how mild or severe your OCD is, what type of OCD you have, or if you're receiving treatment for it - Seek Solace is here to provide you with a safe space, friendship, and support.
How Do I Join Seek Solace?
You can be involved as much or as little as you'd like.
Not sure you can make it every month? Don't worry - there's no commitment required. Send us an email or click below to join our Facebook group to become an associate member of Seek Solace. You'll be able to come along to any meeting or social event we hold.

We take privacy very seriously and consider that anything said in Seek Solace sessions or on our Facebook page should not be shared elsewhere.
